The TRIAX Touch A-Missile System is the latest evolution in impact testing for football and soccer playing surfaces, designed to measure impact attenuation on natural and artificial turf. The system is fully compliant with ASTM F355 (Procedure A) and ASTM F1936. Built around a streamlined "top hat" design, the TRIAX Touch A-Missile is easier to set up and move around test sites — helping teams complete full test programs in less time. Test data is transferred quickly to a wireless handheld data unit for immediate review and documentation. The system features a precision-machined aluminum guide tube with a quick-attach base plate to consistently achieve the required 24" drop height, then disassembles for easy transport. A robust manual release mechanism secures the missile until the operator pulls the release knob, allowing the missile to drop and impact the test surface.
