Product Details
The VCL (Vertical Change in Level) Gauge is designed to measure changes in vertical height as required by the U.S. DOJ 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design for accessible routes, and for playground accessible routes as referenced in CSA Z614 (Annex H). No modifications are required to use the device across these standards, and it can also be used to support accessible route compliance in the built environment under CSA B651. Manufactured by Canadian Playground Advisory Inc., this gauge helps users verify accessible routes under both the 2010 ADA Standards and CSA Z614. In addition to vertical changes in level, it can measure horizontal gaps within an accessible route under either standard. The gauge can also be used to measure pile height of artificial turf installed on playground accessible routes. Canadian Playground Advisory Inc. also offers support and training on proper use of the device in accordance with relevant standards, including measurement methods and performance reporting requirements.
